Madama Butterfly

Lucas Fredes

This huge piece of art called Madama Butterfly is a very good depiction of how strong music can play a role in an moment or situation. It shows how powerful music can show emotion instead of humans showing it. As well as not talking and just acting. For example at the end the girl broke into pieces because the man had left her and took her child. That is a very good depiction of when someone is so sad or in such a bad situation, one just wants to fall into pieces and that's exactly what she portrayed to us.

The story of this short film animation is so well portrayed in order for the audience to understand completely what it is going on. It is one of the best "deep" (I guess you could call it) video I've seen. The best part is that this is an opera that one can portray this however one wants, which makes it more appealing to the audience. One of my favorite and most intriguing moments of this animation was when the captain of the boat came only for the kid and left, saying no words or any action. That made me relate how these days man have come to a point to not respect women. Not as a feminist or anything but it is sad to see that we have man that use women just like it is portrayed in the video.
