Creativity in Every Day Life

After watching Raul Cuero's Interview about Creativity, one may think it is easy to be creative although what most people don't see is that one has to take action. Raul came from a very humble family and went through tragedies of survival. Although he never took anything in the negative way, instead because of being alone it pushed him to take action and create. His high school life wasn't the best, since he was discriminated for where he was from. Saying since he came from a not very developed town he wasn't smart and was always wrong. And as said before, he took the criticism in a positive way.

Raul stated, "loneliness is a sign to take action" and this is what I related with the most in his interview. Since when I feel lonely I look for something to do, otherwise I feel like I'm wasting time. So, either I grab my guitar or I do exercise. Although I've always been wanting to do other things like designing clothing, or starting a business, but what I haven't done is take action. Raul says that, "these days young teenagers aren't able to take action, instead they rely in visual art meaning cellphones, computers, video games" which is so true. I do get distracted with such things and it impedes me to pursue my goals.

One thing I learned is that when people doubt you, to overcome that you need to do something they would never think you could do, which will push you to create. I think Dr. Raul Cuero is the epitome of living smart. He is a living example of a person who was the subject of discrimination and discouraging words, yet, he chose to rise above mediocrity and become someone great, although, many may not know it. He shows that no matter what your background, you can Proceed, Exceed and Succeed. This is what most people on this planet still fail to realize. It doesn't matter where you come from or what you are. It's all about who you area creative individual by nature.
